Global 21, the secure managed dual-path signalling service specifically designed for today’s digital networks is now available in Australia and New Zealand (click for details). Emizon 21’s advanced signalling service meets Class 2, 3, 4 and 5 of the newly released AS/NZS2201.5:2008 standards providing a direct replacement for Telstra’s Securitel service. Using the service is straightforward and follows the same model as Securitel. The alarm panel hardware called a Telemetry Communications Device (TCD) is available through MCM Electronics and their distribution partners. The Global 21 service is ordered from the Monitoring Centres in the usual way.

TheTCD can be fitted into the customers alarm panel and connects into their existing broadband network and a second signalling path is provided, using Optus’s advanced GPRS (wireless data network). Designed for ease of use the TCD uses the same connections as the MCM serial Securitel STU and is commissioned by a simple button press.

The launch of the Emizon's Global 21 service means that installation companies across Australia now have a secure, cost effective and well-proven signalling service, fully compliant with the new standards.
