The TCD is the communications device that fits into the alarm control panel to connect to the Emizon IP service.  The TCD establishes secure 'always on' IP connections to the ARC for the primary path; using the wired IP network, and the secondary path; using the wireless GPRS network. Both paths are managed across the Emizon Service Platform.
